Where it's used.

This profile is suited to a wide range of building types and project scales — from residential to large commercial.

Exterior wall cladding

Flush panels are increasingly popular for contemporary commercial and residential exteriors — clean horizontal or vertical lines with no visible fasteners. Works on both new construction and re-cladding over existing substrates with a strapping system.

Soffit & canopy panels

The flat face and concealed fastener system make flush panels ideal for soffits, overhangs, and canopy undersides. Available with perforation patterns for ventilated soffit applications — ask us about vented options.

Interior liner panels

For wash bays, agricultural buildings, cold storage, and industrial interiors, flush panels provide a smooth, washable wall and ceiling surface. The interlocking design eliminates gaps and the steel surface is moisture-resistant and easy to maintain.

How it goes on.

A simplified overview — for full installation guides, technical drawings, and spec sheets, contact our team or request a trade account.
01

Framing & substrate

Install strapping or Z-channel at the specified spacing for the coverage width you’re using. Ensure all framing is plumb and level — flush panels will telegraph any irregularities in the substrate.
02

Starter strip

Install the starter trim at the base of the wall or the inside edge of the soffit. This sets the alignment for all subsequent panels and provides a clean finished edge.
03

Panel installation

Hook each panel onto the previous panel’s concealed lock, fastening through the hidden flange. Work horizontally or vertically depending on your orientation. Panels can be cut to length on-site with standard metal cutting tools.
04

Trim & terminations

Finish all edges, corners, and penetrations with colour-matched brake-formed trim. J-channel, Z-channel, inside and outside corners are all available to order with your panel package.

FAQs.

What's the V-groove option?
A V-groove is a pressed line running the length of the panel face, adding a shadow line and visual depth to an otherwise flat panel. It’s a popular choice for contemporary residential cladding where architects want a flat panel with subtle articulation. V-groove is available on both 12″ and 16″ coverage widths.
Yes — flush panels run in whichever direction your framing allows. Vertical installation is common for barn-style residential cladding and modern commercial buildings. The clip and lock system works the same in both orientations.
Absolutely. The Kynar 500 PVDF coating on all our steel panels is rated for Alberta’s UV exposure, temperature range, and freeze-thaw cycles. The concealed fastener system eliminates the exposed screws that can loosen and leak over time on corrugated and ribbed profiles.

No — flush panels are designed for wall and cladding applications only and aren’t suitable for roofing. If you’re looking to match your roof and walls, we offer other panel profiles that work for both
